Has taught many facets of special education for nearly two decades. Her specialist areas include learning disabilities, physical and health impairments, and Traumatic Brain Injury. She continues in her role as Education Specialist for students with Physical and Health Impairments/TBI within San Diego Unified School District. She also has teaching authorizations for Autism Spectrum Disorder and Adapted Physical Education. Downtime has her training for one run after another. She has more recently joined with Team Hoyt San Diego and loves all of the adventures that running brings her way!
A former California elementary school classroom educator with post graduate studies in special education and curriculum development. She has over 1,000 volunteer hours in art and STEM programs for grades K-6. She is currently the Parents Association President and Boys Soccer Coach for a high school in Chandler, Arizona.
A high school senior with a 4.0 GPA. She is active in the fine arts department where she plays the trumpet, sings in the choir and performs in many drama productions and musicals. She is the president of the National Honor Society, a member of the National Spanish Honors Society, a House Leader and an ambassador at her school. She achieved a perfect score on the math section of the SAT. Her hobbies are soccer and traveling.
A high school sophomore with a 3.75 GPA. She is active in drama, co-President on the Global Ambassadors Club and plays on the high school golf team. She is also a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Her hobbies are reading, traveling, acting, drawing and photography.
